I'm Moe

hello!

While I was still teaching and tutoring, I often struggled to find classroom materials that matched my aesthetic. So, I started making my own—and then began offering them as digital downloads for other teachers. These clean, simple designs helped educators feel more grounded and organized, and they helped me realize something important: I could blend my creative side with my analytical side to build a business around work I truly enjoyed.

Over time, though, I felt the pull to expand beyond classroom resources. I wanted to design goods for people like me—those who appreciate clean, practical design that’s considered and cohesive. And so, Moe and Bella began to shift and evolve alongside me.

Today, Moe and Bella is where I share original artwork, create repeat patterns for beautiful, everyday products, and support fellow creatives through thoughtful mentorship and strategy.

Whether you’re looking for simple, intentional design that brings a quiet kind of beauty to the everyday—or guidance that helps you move forward with clarity and confidence—you’re in the right place.

I have a feeling the best is yet to come.

In a former life, I was a teacher—the kind who genuinely loved helping kids problem-solve and see their own potential. That love for teaching, paired with a growing sense of how I wanted to spend my days, eventually led me to start a private tutoring business. Supporting students one-on-one gave me the chance to connect with families in ways the classroom didn’t always allow.

But even then, something creative was tugging at me.

In 2018, a move across the country left me at a crossroads: Should I rebuild my tutoring business in a new state, or take a leap and try something different? Without a crystal ball to tell me that private tutoring would be booming by 2020 (ha!), I chose to step away and start fresh. I didn’t have a fully formed plan—I just knew I wanted to build something creative, flexible, and aligned with a more intentional way of living.
